  1. If someone could run rFactor through a program called 3D-Analyse which should overide any incompatabilties with shader levels etc it might confirm its a hardware problem and a fix could be sorted. I have used this is in the past to run games when the graphics card was missing shader details. PS If this is the case, dont blame rfactor or MoR its the crap designers of some of the cards. If you search through forums you will find a lot of detail about them. I have a Geforce 8800GTS, rFlite, XPSP3, run dx9, high settings and havent any problems. 3D_Analyze.zip
  2. I havent had that problem, perhaps try the track at full settings or on dx9 shader settings
  3. This is a great track. Fantastic detail and it will provide some of the closest F1 racing I have no doubt. Thanks for 2 of the best UK short oval tracks Cant wait to race for proper on Sunday night
  4. You must walk into every shop and ask the shop assistant if you can take things for free. Do they say, "oh okay then take it" I THINK NOT!!! Do you go into a Ford garage and ask them to stick a 2 litre pinto in the Focus ST Do they say, "yes sir, we'll do that to you tomorrow" I THINK NOT!!! So why the hell do you keep going on and why do you not take the answers that have been given, and you expect people not to slag you off. PS I havent actually slagged you off, I just stated facts.
  5. you said you would only upgrade if you could get it for free, its in black and white lol I would get meself a nice new blueray surround sound if I could steal one from world of power. Basically I'll tell you you're unlucky mate, cos it looks like you wont be upgrading to rfactor, as you cant download it for free and then play online.
  6. Its not like its 500 quid. Its affordable at £15-£25 and something you will play on most weeks of the year so worth giving a bit towards the developers by buying the game.
  7. nice to see the creators of brisca heat havnt forgot the bread and butter side of things and just left and gone off and done their own things (rfactor). NOT!!!! the brisca heat designed for everyone and all classes seems to be dissapearing with new models/chassis being developed for better things. so what happens to the average person who loves the origional heat games ? if u cant upgrade to rfactor... screw you !! ??? would i be rite ?? if im not i apologize !! Its people like you mo that help the developers decide not to bother with heat. Heat is an old game (very old in pc terms) it would be stupid to carry on developing for it when their better out their. Why do you think curry's have stopped selling VHS video recorders 2 years ago. There's just no point in them and its time to move on. You can still play heat with the older cars, think of it as nostalgia value as well. One day you will catch up and upgrade your PC and be able to play rFactor just as wel. Imagine if the developers took your pathetic attitude and stuck with the old Dirt game from 2002. You'd still be playing that with dreadful outdated graphics and would never have seen Heat. If you really want to carry on seeing models released for Heat get learning how to make them for the game and do it yourself like the other developers have had to do. They range from 15-40 year olds,, Students to Bangers drivers so its no offence implied to anyone but its not like you have to be a roclet scientist to make them. Just dedicated and patient. Best Screw you regards, Chris
  8. As much as ya hate to agree with him, half of its true
  9. In defence, the skinpack creators have say half a dozen skins to get sorted and checked for each pack, and you expect them to hang around and make special exceptions for you. rFactor isnt quite as easy to sort out new skins as in heat (although updates are no problem). In the other rFactor league they have been more relaxed about skinpacks, releasing them most weeks when necessery, but every week you get someone 24 hour after the deadline saying hold on for their skin as the pack is being uploaded. You've probably had 1 or 2 months to sort a skin out, even its in just your favourite colour with a number on the wing for now.
  10. How long have u had to get your skins in earache?
  11. Is the semi's points scoring in real life?
  12. A simple no would have sufficed. I wouldnt bother racing if thats how people get spoken to.
  13. hmmm you're right. I altered my C/rfactor/icantbeleivethesequestionskeepcoming/everyweek file for the ambulance and also the marshalls on the pit gate (I didnt know of this option by the way, thanks) and you're right, there were huge delays during many of my races. In fact I had to abandon the Grand National this week as it was bedtime. My next question is about the recovery tractors... PS I dont think I have the correct sound file for the pre-2002 UK style ambulance siren which is now used. email me at ineedtogetoutmore@orraceonline.co.uk if anyone has it Cheers folks
  14. nice car, think we need a few more 'racey' looking cars hope it goes as fast as it looks
  15. Hi, I was racing offline last night and there was an almighty crash on turn 3 at Hednesford. Can I set it so when the waved yellows come out, the cars line up single file on the start line? Also where is the ambulance setting, as the driver of the car was hurt and I expected the st johns ambulance to come out on track to help any help much appreciated. yours sincerly, Splinter
  16. One or two should be re-modelled for rFactor for us to give em a try out
  17. hello Tinman, We all have had to lear at some point, and I think this is a perfect way for you to learn. We have had people drop out of the smei final already due to holidays, work etc, and I think it would be a shame for you to drop out as well. Just take your time and I am sure you will get on fine. you can always decide you have had enough in the race if you feel uncomfortable. What I am saying, is you never know until you give it ago, and I think you should give it a go!!! Cheers Johno Maybe Tinman isnt confident on the shale but would suit the tarmac better> Good to admit he is struggling. I remember when we were all spinning out last year.
  18. Thats because he hasnt got a clue how to render properly. 1st one's nice colour, a bit different, and second one looks the part. Just looking through this old thread wondering why someone posted Hot Rods when it says show us your F1's lol

Have ukdirt gone public, where can I see the share prices?
  20. Good work but the letters need merging into each other slighty (like stig did) apart from the m and the p
  21. how do i do that? easiest way is to just download realplayer basic and use that. Save flash video from youtube.
  22. Its about time something happened. Its laughable they have let it go on this long, almost making it 'the norm' for people to download their favourite music. Youtube/Google is as bad. They obviously still make mega bucks from the bittorrents and internet usage in a round about way via third party advertising thats why I fell they havent clamped down on it yet. Overall music sales figures are still high contrary to what they say. The big organisations almost deserve to lose every penny in revenue as they have ripped everyone off for years, unfortunatly the little high street shops and our shopping centres suffer. I like using torrents for other things though like missed tv programmes, or various programs I wouldnt be able to track down in the shops, so would they slow my connection down for some legitimate sharing/downloads?
  23. Smartest F2 I seen in a long time
  24. Thats what i call a slow response lmao
  25. Great day. First dry day up here for about 2 weeks as well. Dont know if it was me but it really went slowly today in between races. But it was worth it for 4 or 5 spectacular incedents, especially the SD1 hitting the catch fencing while rolling over the yank tank at the same time lol Good pileup in the Hot Fords as well, it almost wiped out the entire field
