  1. ..sound like quotes taken from Kevin Keegan's next autobiography
  2. Cowdenbeath has changed a bit since I last went there! That's one hell of a chicane...and are numbers so low that they now run the bangers with the F2's
  3. Are you using Photoshop? The download is only asking where you want to place the file you are downloading. You can put it anywhere but say put it on the desktop for ease. Then just double click the installer and it will add itself to Photoshop. (It has nothing to do with rFactor at this stage, it is a plug-in purely for Photoshop) Once you have installed it you can delete the downloaded file. Now when you save your painted template/skin in Photoshop you goto 'save as' and you have the addtional .DDS file option (instead of saving as a tga/jpg as you would normally) Most of the answers to your questions are already on the forum, either as sticky or further down the pages of the rFactor section, if you get stuck have a quick browse or search for it.
  4. u were flying Jay. I went on Saturday this year. I filmed a few laps on me camera
  5. The difference in the supreme final was everyone seemed more experienced and didnt go 'hell for leather' on the 1st lap like was happening on Sunday. But closed grids was a silly idea from the outset for me, but it was only reallythe 1st lap that caused most problems. Once we go graded again, things will be great. The rollers cud do with sorting a bit better, thats a more difficult one to solve. I think because everyone is 'anomynous' in their real-life skins the hits are coming in more often now, which is all part of the fun of this new series too
  6. Wishing him all the best in recovery and getting back to racing I had to leave literally 5 minutes before it happened so typically I missed the controvesy, but a big shame it had to finish that way.
  7. it was just the panels fixed up behind their desk it look ugly as hell in my opinion but I guess it will grow on me They're going to start looking more like 80's SuperRods if they go that way, although, in some respects that wouldn't be a bad thing as there were some smart cars around back then
  8. just on way back from hednesford but book me in please 305 Perez splinter20
  9. jaysus, Kane is a well desperate kiddo, wotever will he do next
  10. 212/D.Wainman for shale 305/C.Perez for tarmac
  11. why's the intro vid filesize gone so big yet naff quality hope to race on-line tomorrow night with you fellas
  12. blah blah blah blah We adjusted the damage for my Street Stock mod, at first you could fold it like a pretzel... oh I didnt see any pretzels while I was over there... so, you could fold it up like half eatin scone that some fat chick just sat on. I think its very do-able, plus you can set it to knock bumpers and other various parts off with a hard enough hit. From a Country Man where they think a DD is reversing into each other at 20mph..... sometimes they tip on their side and explode into a ball of flames though
  13. The tracks looks much better now
  14. I was about to get into the top 100 earlier (yes its hard lol) until some prick spun and took me out re-joining at Ahvenstino or wotever its called. I cant believe how its possible to go 5 seconds a lap faster, but they do! Was only my 2nd time on these so I think I can squeeze another 25 seconds off my overall time, now I know the tracks. Dont know what I'm doing wrong at Fuji though
  15. we're as bad as each other, I'm just above you on the leaderboard think I'll have another blast tomorrow night
  16. Can it please be unlocked for him Kevin, as he just asked me to post here on his behalf
  17. aye, get that diesel genny hooked up. I had a quick blast on the rfc championship afterwards anyways.
  18. thanks for the racing, it was fun. shame u ran out of 50p's for the electric meter just when i was beginning to get faster. Either that or they've just unplugged the christmas tree lights up the hi-street which you hooked up to lmao
  19. yup, thanks to Dan/MoR for running the series and thanks to everyone involved with the creation of the cars and tracks The driving standard, apart from the odd occasion, has been exceptional. Well...maybe not quite exceptional, but you know what I mean ,
  20. any1 racing? or maybe try something a bit different for tonight? how about we join the buggies world championship on rfc, or we do some rallycross??
  21. Before the wheel, I used the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2,which is similar to the one above posted by Hutch but costs £20-ish Its very good and well recommended, and the batteries have lasted well over a year so far, although to be fair, I only play on rFactor once a week
  22. Merry Christmas racers Either you're up waiting for Father Christmas, getting Merry, or its Christmas morning (if you're sad enough to look on here on Christmas morning) ...anyway, whenever it is, welcome to the very final video of the 2007 UKDirt Autumn Series for rFactor F1 Stockcars, UKDASFRFF1S for short. A fantastic meeting all round in my view and proving that Birmingham Wheels is one of the best racing tracks, not only in real life, but within the confines of rFactor as well. Hutch was leading the points over Drumbstick going into the event, but with double points on offer, who could grab the title? If you dont already know, watch the video. Hope you enjoy this last video as much as some of you like the rest of them. Turn the speakers right up, sit back and enjoy. I may have made one or two small errors, but I was rushing this through for ya all before Christmas morning. I say rush, I hardly slept lol. And yes its a big download. The intro is dedicated to my mate Hutch PS I aint even had time to check it yet, so hopefully it will work! Right I'm off out now, cya all next year! Have a great Christmas VIDEO IS UPLOADING AND WILL APPEAR APPROX IN 1 HOUR APPROX 10:30PM Round 10 Series Finale Video
  23. Hello rFactor fans, Welcome to the Video edit of last Sunday's Grand Final - Round 9 of the UKDirt rFactor Autumn Series from Belle Vue Speedway. A few complaints about big hits this week, but it seemed it was more down to a lot of cars racing on the small and narrow shale track of Belle Vue. One major problem however is when damaged car's try to continue for many laps, and this can really muck up other's races. Anyway here is the highlights of the Final. See ya laters Round 9 Final Cheers, Chris
