  1. Cowdenbeath, Newton Aycliffe, Wisbech, Tipperary or Northampton...modelled for rFactor. I'll personally measure the last two if required. A Granada banger or Randall F2 modelled for rf would be superb as well.
  2. Yeah, just 2 visits to Ipswich this year for Hot Rod and F1 world finals
  3. I aint even changed my steering settings. Maybe I should have done that when i first got my wheel
  4. lmao, that would nearly be as bad as racing it with heat. Good luck all. Get lots of practise in Al, would be great to see you win it from the front.
  5. I think when Wrighty releases Northampton next week that will provide similar racing as well.
  6. Mystic Megs says.... Standlake, Sheffield, Followed by Buxton, Northampton and Coventry, and see's a blue door with a red porch and the number 16. Hutch. Bradford looks almost same as Cowdenbeath in the pic, so just close your eyes and pretend yer there.
  7. Be realistic. There are literally tens of thousands of old cars out there still. Most are not actually that rare, they're all out there somewhere still sat rotting in corners/barns/yards etc. In another 10 years or so 99.9% of them will still be sat there rotting unless they are weighed in or raced. Nobody wants to spend, often up to 2 grand, plus zillions of hours, restoring a car worth probably £2500 at the end of it. Even the cars raced that are rare, nobody wants them. These cost even more to repair and at the end of it they're hardly worth anything. Reason British cars are rare half the time nowdays is because they either rot cos they're made out of crap steel, driven on British salty roads, or they're ugly. Most of the pre-70 stuff raced is well passed it, or just not economic for anyone to repair. Get em raced! There's still plenty of well kept/restored classics out there, to go around.
  8. doesn't this just put the texture detail back up to full?
  9. Absolutely classic stuff Cabs, and some good music to go with em.
  10. There's now a Kings Lynn video on the right hand side of the WIP page. http://www.rfactorcentral.com/detail.cfm?ID=Kings%20Lynn
  11. Call me what you will, but i hear this exact story 4 or 5 times a year since 2004
  12. sorry, just seen this topic in the non-league section. Thought it would be in here
  13. Ex-touring car ace Dave Leslie was one the 5 on the plane that crashed near Farnborough. I've met him at the tracks in years gone by in the Thundersaloons and BTCC, and he always seemed like a top bloke. Condolences to his family. In memory of David. 14. The AI sometimes the cut the corners which then leads to them driving right through the large tyres. The tyres at the end of the straights are correct and solid.
  15. Click on the pic to download the video of last nights action!
  16. you've made an absolutely cracking job of the track mor

    Setups

There have been one or two that have used keys, but I'd rather chew one of me grandads slippers than try and play rFactor with keys. An analogue joypad definately recommended due to the gradual throttle control required. But....even the difference between a joypad and wheel was massive when I changed to my wheel. I tried a wheel with Heat but it just didnt feel right, but with rFactor it really felt the natural thing to use from the 1st minute i tried it.
  18. ...and looking like it should [attachmentid=23711]
  19. ...and my shale car from part of last year [attachmentid=23709] [attachmentid=23710]
  20. ...see how realistic the track is then !
  21. Not sure yet if I'll race it, but...if ya see me..watch out!! [attachmentid=23705] [attachmentid=23706] [attachmentid=23707]
  22. Good luck all. Due to a complete cockup between my ISP's (leaving me being the one losing out) my broadband is down so wont be able to join in, but I know the racing will be great. Its the best track so far so hope you all have a superb test meeting.
  23. In regard to the temp car, if you press tab the drivers names should come on screen. Not sure if its just me but Chris Bonner and James Neachell's cars have minor .veh text probs and may not show up in your game and will show as temp cars.
