  1. COME ON FRANKIE!!!!!!
  2. agree with Johno and Dazza on every formula needing one of these - cracking job tosh and please keep doing them mate reminds me of a few years ago when kendo used to do a meeting round up with all the pictures as well. think the problem then and probably will be in the future is that everyone loves to see them, but not enough people publicly applaud the work, which leads people like yourself to think that it isnt appreciated as much as it is. I am sure I speak for all the racers when I say that these are cracking tosh. (p.s. I used to love the videos of the finals as well. anyone up for doing a few of them this season?)
  3. cheers for the meeting Spike and wd to all the winners. loving the new tar physics but again finding them a bit too easy to break imo. not by a lot though, just would like to see a minor tweak to them not breaking quite so easily when you hit a parked or spun car. for me again, it was two out of the four races watching the racing because of this, and getting slightly annoyed at it.... que the shooting of me down now lol, i know you want to

  5. Count, I run Vista with no probs at all. although I did install from the ukdirt site which I think is Nascar essentials rather than from a disk. one thing with vista though is to make sure you are running the program as an administrator. (right click - run as administrator) hope this helps mate.
  6. hi dave, im sure you have this covered, but is there a skin pack for tomorrow? as I have no shale skins in my game other than the testers and rookies.
  7. last years for me please Dave. I assume the rollcage colours on mine are ok as they are?

  10. ok just watched both replays properly and both were punctures - apologies as the game displays it as suspension. My opinion still stands though as it was rather boring for me tonight with the damages.
  11. Firstly, thanks for running it spike and wd to all the winners. After tonight I am definately of the opinion that the car strength is too little and could do with being turned up on the server settings. I only really raced one race out of four tonight due to the car breaking to easily. heat one i finished ok - heat two I got hit into a tyre on lap 2 and the wheel came off. - the final I came round the bend on lap 2, saw a spun car, slammed on the brakes and tapped into it which broke the front suspension???!!! the gn I got hit on the back bumper going into a bend which broke the rear suspension!!!!! heat two i can accept, the other two races I am of the opinion that it shouldnt break that easily. Now I do understand that the cars do break in real life, but I also know that I was very bored tonight having only one race and felt like I wasted my time. From a personal point of view, I pay to and want to race every week, not watch from the sidelines because a mild tap has ended the race for me. I hope the men in charge take this as constructive critisism as this I hope was the point of the test meeting. Thanks again for running it spike, and please lets give the cars a bit more strength for the future.
  12. lmao budge...come to think of it doesnt that lad in the middle look a bit like BB?
  13. only ten years to go then ..........
  14. don't hold back there aub son lol say what you see.... Personally really enjoyed last nights meeting. The new physics are exactly how i was hoping they would be adjusted too, the car drives like a car now in my opinion. A big well done to all who put the effort into the change. I also thought the contact was much better as a result. With the monopoly of the hits now on the bumper, I found the cars less likely to spin and easier to control when on the receiving end. Possibly agree with Budge in that the cars do damage very easily, but the jury is still out for the moment from my point of view on that. From a spectators view, the cars do break fairly easy in real life when hit hard into the fence etc, but from a games point of view it can end the race very quickly which will prove frustrating. At least it should put paid to the ott hits in the future, unless the hitting driver does not care, which could again prove frustrating if on the receiving end. In terms of 'picking it up and playing' I now dont see this as being much different to heat. For me I started very badly at heat and worked my way up the grades by putting in the practise hours and adjusting the set ups. After a while I had a reasonable set up for each track which meant I could 'pick it up and play it'. as a few of you will know, I hated this rfactor malarky at the start because it put me back out of my comfort zone and back to being a novice, and also meant I had to put the hours back in which I didnt want to do if I was to be honest. Now once again I have worked my way back up the grades by puting the practise hours in and have a reasonable set up for most tracks again. Don't get me wrong, i'm no superstar in this either, but I am in a position to pretty much 'pick it up and play' again and usually within 30 laps or so I am on my pace. So really if you think about it, is it so different? the answer is the same...put the time in like you did with heat and you soon will be able to 'pick it up and play it' again.
  15. nezza please - any track for me

  17. had a good spin on these tonight and really prefer this version so far. cars are much more realistic going into the bend but harder to control coming out. takes a bit of getting used to, but once you realise you have to control the gas a bit better on the exit, rather than flooring it, its much better. damage is much more realistic as well. not sure the heat boys are gonna like it though lol cheers uksom
