Since I can't afford anything long term and have no experience, I hope to have an outing in Rookie bangers sometime this year.

Yes they are equivelant to our F1's. Our F1 can't compete with NZ cars for numerous reasons the main one being there not strong enough. NZ stocks rules are closer to bangers and deliberate fencing and followins are allowed. NZ stocks race on bigger tracks, similar to Sprint cars etc. Looking good so far, very impressive, but those engine noises sound like our petrol engine lawn mower but as you said that will be sorted so good news all round. Can't wait to get Rfactor myself.

Hopefully it wil because i'm stuck for ideas now. Jolt and MSN are fine again now ntw, so it wasn't a related problem, just MiRC that seems to have blacklisted me for spamming apparently which is ridiculous.

Another problem for the pile, Jolt just reads 'waiting for reply'. I assume these things are all related somehow. Strange as during the F2 meeting I partcipated in Heats & Final, Jolt was working fine, just chat was down but now Jolt as well

Occasionally when i leave it on it does carry on playing in game which was cool but only happened a few times. Other than getting very technical and editing the common.res and mod.cfg files etc. I think it is very unlikely that it is possible.

I have just checked that, it is in the allow list of port numbers etc. along with Java. I don't know how to renew the IP address either

I also can't get into MSN, this may have something to do with it? It mentions improper proxy or firewall settings, i have no idea what this means though.

After restarting the computer it now gives me this and just refuses to connect at all.

Thanks for that Jarry, i hope it is nothing quite that serious though, but if worst comes to worst, that may be the only solution I have tryed reintsalling a few times but to no avail, is it possible that ukdirt registered driver could have banned me having notice this option in the commands list?

I agree with that, We have the power, not the Government, who says we have to do what they want? What are they going to do about it if everyone ignores there requests? The government will push people to far eventually and I wouldn't be at all surprised if a civil war breaks out, and im not talking about N v S at Hednesford this weekend.

I hope it doesn't happen, as I was so looking forward to being able to drive, however, Eriks plan of leaving it in the garage sounds good.
