The 'cut maple' and 'motor salvage' writing are both, as you said, tailormade so there is no font as they are designed by the signwriter and no two letters will be the same. Stucco 555 is about as close as you will get to the 'cut maple' sign, but u will need to cut it about a little. As for the motor salvage try A&S Signwriter font, it's not free but it is a good font. Signpainter Housebrush is good also, but it is only in uppercase letters. Sorry I cant help further.

Orange offer good deals to their mobile customers BUT you have to resign your mobile contract for 18 months and I have recently had lots of problems connecting a wireless network using the Orange Livebox (which is huge, almost as big as a sky digibox!). Sky broadband looks good but it seems it is gonna be the same old story with them, rush out these new ideas and then have no real masterplan. As always with sky their motto is 'sell sell sell' and they will bend over backwards for new customers whilst us loyal people wait on hold for hours on end!

Yes, BT impose download limits on all their broadband packages I have just migrated from Tesco to Pipex. Tesco have never let me down but Pipex are offering a better all-round deal

Just done a speed test (or 2) and these are the results, in order of time done. The download bit doesn't seem right, and the Latency can be a little high at times. This isn't good is it?

Mine is coming up to 6 years old Yeah I thought maybe the internet connection, but everything else seems fine, I mean I never get cut off or anything silly like that. MSN messenger can be slow at starting sometimes and regularly freezes on startup.

OK, enough is enough, my trusty old PC just cannot handle the game. I regularly get a warpy type of issue where all the other cars jump and hop about like mad, slide sideways round the track and the game in general is very jumpy and slow. So I am going to buy a new PC, purely for the game as I will be building a seperate one for work. I am aware that Dual Core is a must, but what else should I be looking for to run the game smoothly? What is the perfect system for the game? Remember, the new system will be purely for the game, nothing else. So tons of memory space isnt a major requirement.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but it relates to Norton. I am curently running Norton 2006 and it is due to expire in 3 days. What are peoples suggestions with regards to continuing with Norton or going elsewhere? I admit I have never had any major issues in the last 12 months with Norton and have recently installed Norton 2007 on a mates PC and it is working fine. Any ideas?

How safe is this to use? I really don't understand what all the programs are and if it will have any drastic effect if I close them?

hmm Have you tried reinstalling the game?

when u say it crashes, where abouts does it crash? on load up, when connecting to jolt?

I had same problem, u need v1.7e installed, if you go to options in the game, bottom right will be your version number.

Uninstall and reinstall following the details given on ukdirt site, you need v 1.7e installed, you prob have v1.8 or similar

Hmm, cant get that to work. I have duplicated the layer, set the brightness to max, then....? I have tried merging down but that doesn't give me the overlay option
