  1. Booking list is updated guys. Dont forget, the coin toss also takes place tonight.
  2. Hello Guys, The Skegness Semi Final review can be found on the rfactor news page on the UK Dirt Website. No pictures have been added yet, but I hope to have this done this weekend. Cheers Johno
  3. Hello guys, UK Dirt website is up to date except the following two things.... (1) no pictures for the reports on the news pages (2) grades up to date I am going to go through every grade, and sort them all out tomorrow. Cheers Johno
  4. Hello Lee, I dont think you have been able to PM me as my in box was full. Thank you very much for the offer, but Kevs website is in fact correct, minus the Grand National Championship. Its just a case of me going into the database to change it around, which will take me about 30mins. Thanks for the offer though Cheers Johno
  5. Hello Guys, With the database being deleted this past weekend, unfortuntely all of the data that was collected on the site has been lost. This lost means that the UK Dirt site has lost the following: - An up to date rfactor F1 fixture list - The F1 news pages - An up to date list of final winners (found on the fixtures page) I hope to rectify this by Wednesday night. For the time being, please see here for the fixture changes in rfactor F1 from now until the end of the season. For a list of site, please click here and go to 2008 rfactor F1, and then fixtures and results, to see a list of time for the meetings. Once again, I apologise for any inconvenience caused, but this situation could not be helped. Cheers Johno
  6. FIXTURE CHANGES Unfortunately, with the back dating of the website, this was one of the posts that has been lost. I wil try and have this sorted by Wednesday night, so please refer to these fixtures for the time being. Cheers Johno
  7. I have just been informed that the UK Dirt Website is now back online. Currently, I do not have the details to change anything on the database, therefore, it currently says that this Thursdays meeting is due to take place at Bradford Tarmac. This is NOT the case, it is just that the site has had to be back dated four weeks again, so therefore the changes that were made to the fixture list are not reflected on the site. For a more up to date fixture list, please click here. Please remember that Skegness Shale will hold the Grand National Championship meeting, and not Belle Vue as it states on this fixture list. Please be patient with me, and I will try and have everything updated by Wednesday night at the latest, as I have a rather busy day tomorrow. I can only apologise for any inconvenience caused, but unfortunately this could not be helped. Cheers Johno
  8. I can only echo what is said above. Kev does a sensational job on the forum. When he got the news yesterday at 2pm, he was on the internet until 11pm sorting it out. Now if that isnt dedication to UK Dirt then I dont know what is, especially when you consider it was bank holiday weekend as well. So thanks very much Kev..... your time and effort is much appreciated as the responses on this thread shows. Also thanks to MC as well, who is now using his spare time to get the UK Dirt website back up and running. Its important to remember that all this is done for nothing, and without these two, as well as LeeK and DanSkin yesterday, we would all be stuck and possibly, would not have a UK Dirt at all. We have a lot to be greatful for imo. Cheers Johno
  9. Hello Vegas, Sorry forgot to add that bit of infrmation - the start time this week is 7:30pm, due to Heat F1 hosting their secnd semi final at Swaffham. Cheers Johno
  10. Hello guys, I am afraid I am unsure on how long the UK Dirt site will be out of comission for. So for the time being, if you could book in here, thursdays race manager will be very greatful. Should the site be up before Thursday, bookings will be taken from both the site AND this thread. So dont worry if you book in here and then fail to on the UK Dirt site if it reappears. MEETING START TIME IS 7:30PM GUYS - Thanks to Vegas for reminding me Johno #3 booking in - yellow grade - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The booking list will be kept up to date here: Superstar Dazza #290 Hutch #331 Red Grade Grasser #233 Tosh #8 Blue Grade Marten #291 LeeK #39 Cancelled Sybe #315 Jimmy #259 TomD #112 Yellow Grade Johno #3 Mav #525 Matty #300 Spike #221 Cancelled Vegas #202 White Grade Chevy #11 Walker #74

  12. Hello All, Unfortunately the UK Dirt website as gone down, and at the minute we are looking into the problems caused. Can I ask you all to book in on here, even if you had already booked in via the site, for this meeting. Cheers Johno EDIT: Don't forget the new grades come into play this week for rfactor F1.
  13. First of all, thank very much to Kev for race managing and stewarding the meeting. A big well done goes to Hutch #331. To go from the back of the grid in any race is impressive, but tonight I really thought I lower grade driver would win, so you definately did well to get through the pack. I look forward to seeing your new skin sir. Well done to Jimmy on taking a second final win in as many days. Certainly was in dominant form this week. Also well done for third in the Grand Nationals. Speaking of Grand Nationals, its a shame we had such low numbers of cars. Based on people talking about poor driving standards, he thought it best to split the grand nationals. As it happened, we could of ran all in. This is why we ask for you to let us know if you are leaving, so that we can plan grids accordingly. Anyway, personally, it was a disaster for me most of the night. Spun early in the Euro, poor in the heats, scraped through the cons, to then spin straight away in the final. In the grand national I got it right, and managed to get a good breaks through those in the field. Overall, I think the double header was a success, and as said, it is somehting different to what we normally do, and I think makes a refreshing change. We need to discuss format and qualification based on theories, but overall it was UK Dirt's best rfactor attendances so that has to be a positive. Thanks again to all those that took time to plan the event, and to all of you for racing the event, and of course MoR for the superb track. Cheers Johno
  14. Hello Guys, Here are the latest changes which are to be in place for next weeks meeting at Belle Vue. Congratualtions to those drivers that went up. Commiserations to those that went down. Up to Superstar None Up to Red None Down to Red None Up to Blue 259, 18 Down to Blue None Up to Yellow 221 (Well done spike - reward for all your hard work!) Down to Yellow 531 Down to White None Cheers Johno
  15. Quick reminder of tonights grid.
  16. Sorry to hear that Spike, thanks for letting us know.
  17. Splinter, You have manipulated those posts above to read that I am in the wrong. On your earachce topic above, I had replied earlier than that, on the same thread to say no. Dan and others had then told him no in the server. You have asked for your account to be removed, so why bother commenting after asking for that? I simply pointed out to you in a PM, trying to keep it private, why I am not happy. Tonight is no about me you or DanSkin.... Its about the European Championship. This topic will be closed therefore and reopend after tonights meeting for sensible suggestions. Cheers Johno
  18. Hello Guys, Last night I mentioned how I had changed the settings on my steering wheel, and this was thank to Hutch #331. Having just had a breif discussion with him, he has sent me a picture, which may well help some of you. Its about adjusting the rates, and what it did for me was help me to cure my understeer. So thanks very much to Hutch for the picture, and obviously the work in finding the settings. I hope it can work for you like it did for me.
  19. Splinter, We are now getting to the problem you have then..... me. I dont recall ever telling you to shove off. Please correct me if I am wrong, and I will serously have a look at it as it hasnt come from me. I didnt mean the cracking post from earache. I meant when you got invloved over his skin. That is when you slightly back tracked, not the craking post. He was told by several members of the admin team, not just me may I add, that he could not have a pack at such short notice. He was told politely on the forum, and then also told in the server and then you chirp in that we are being harsh. Onto the format, and this week is the first week that the format as caused anyone a problem. Therefore they have voiced their concerns and it is something that will be discussed next season. When a format as been announced, it would be unfair to change it after the first part of the format as taken place. No one complained before hand and they new how it worked right back to the start of the season. The reason why I mentioned you not being a paid member is because in my eyes you are trying to cause trouble. You comments about us not listening to people and being rude to people are not true. How many times do I need to prove you wrong. Read the thread and you will see. I know you love rfactor, and dont like heat, and I that doesnt bother me one bit. Also it would be unfair of me to suggest that some of your comments have not been helpful, because they have, but there is no need for the constant snide remarks constantly berating either me or the team. I want the members to enjoy their racing. I dont give up many hours creating something to build up my ego. I do it because I love the league, I love the game, and most of all I love racing. But, at the end of the day, if you, and as you put it most others dont like me, then I will happily step down and just race. I want people to enjoy the league with or without me. I feel no need to berate anyone unless i have to tell them soemthing a million time, and try to explain to them my decisions. If I have a problem with someone, i then do it in PM, like I have done with you. Like I said, if you are in the majority, and I am stopping UK Dirt F1 from growing and becoming bigger, then I will step down, because I can guarantee you, I love this league as much as the next person, and if you seen what what went on behind the scenes, I am sure you would see that I do not in anyway, dictate what is going to happen in UK Dirt F1. Johno
  20. Just to keep things up to date and help you out a bit..... Bookings so far for Thursday: 3, 300, 74, 259, 291, 500, 11, 288, 248, 525, 221, 39, 515, 41, 286, 112, 413, 236, 233, 137, 331, 290, 531, 315, 8
  21. Splinter, This is my last post on the matter. I am the one that has asked for opinions on the meeting - check my first post. I have then said that they have a fair point - check my second and third post I have said we will look at it for next years European Championship meeting, as it is the only time we use this kind of format - check my third and forth post, and Drumbsticks first post. Obviously that isnt taking people thoughts into account. Also in the PM, I said that I thought your top two paragraphs make sense, and I am not hapy about your final comment, when I have just proved above we do listen, and ask and take poeples thoughts into consideration. This is, and never will be a one man band as you want to put it, hence why we have the largest Admin Team in UK Dirt. Johno
  22. Yeah Lee summed it up perfectly Hutch. Anyone above Mav, and doesnt have qualified for the European next to it, is actually already in the race. They are the 'seeded drivers'. Anyone with qualified next to their name, made it through based on last nights meeting. The full list of the top 14 can be found in the European Preview. All in all, looks like it could be an exciting grid, assuming all the qualifers book in of course. Think there is still DB #318 not booked in, but I aint seen him around for a couple of weeks. Cheers Johno
  23. As stated above, we will be looking at their comments in regards to next seasons European meeting, but we cant change the format the nght before. Both AllStar and Lee have made good points which will be discussed in our Admin meeting (s) at the end of the season. All Star is even going to put it on the suggestion thread so the members can discuss it also Keep your comments coming, especially those that took part last night. We are always looking for ways to improve things, hence why I have specifically ask for your opinions this week. Cheers Johno
  24. Ta for letting us know Vegas European will be the first race of the night, so the meeting proper will be after. We will then run a two thirds format, and if history is anything to go by, an all in final and grand national. Cheers Johno
  25. Hello Allstar, I didnt take any offence - as I said a fair point. It is something that we will discuss next year, but just to double check, remmeber you thought, and write it on the suggestion thread which will appear on here at the end of the season - after all - I can be such an empty head at time!! Cheers Johno
