  1. an axe? ....... more like a chain saw
  2. with respect, i made the model and i'd prefer it if you didn't take an axe to it ps - nice skin Tosh, can you keep the PSD handy for the offline tigra please?
  3. its strange that it's taken this long, i agree, but i think thats down to the music industry (pun intended) lagging behind tbh. I've used file-sharing software to recover most of the stuff i used to have on vinyl back in the day......well, i lost loads in a recent re-format but technically i've paid for the music already and was replacing my collection.....the point being there's no legal way to re-own music you 'lost' (i sold the collection in times of strife about 15 years ago lol......400 albums ffs, lots of rare and import....you get the idea)......filesharing does have its upsides too ya see? Torrents are a different issue imho, they're big files at big rates and in the great majority they're not legit (you mention tv programmes quite rightly but there seems to be a growing discussion on where the licence fee fits into the internet age.....itv already block their live feed for the GP through the website to UK proxy servers only and bbc's iplayer uses similar software) so you have to wonder whether 'hollywood' (i.e. the big studios and TV production) are even slower than the music industry..... yours, wishing the internet was as free as it said on the tin ....... lol
  4. on now, Outlaw sprint cars from Eldora, the 2008 Kings Royal now until 8pm

  7. are u on commision? i have some of his and i can recommend his articles for the Times too have a delve, always a lark
  8. i'd suggest u delete the mod files (anything with F1stockcars in the name within the rfactor main folder) and play the game briefly using the default cars and tracks to make sure everything is working, then install V1.0 for the F1s and one track to check they're working, then add v1.1 for the f1s and the other tracks that are available once you're happy that the basic files are ok. Also, make sure you're using version 1.255 of the rfactor game, and i'd recommend you use the full installer. Remember, now you have your activation code for the game (the code you received after buying) you can uninstall rfactor completely and re-install and then activate with your code. (see rfactor homepage downloads for the links) let us know please ...... Wrighty
  9. Lee's quite right mini, they're in the 'skins' folder when you install the mod.
  10. On this week.....right now in fact......'Prelude to the dream' now until 10pm
  11. Happy birthday m8, hope you have a great day
  12. first suggestion would be remove the f1stockcars mod folder from gamedata/vehicles and re-install m8, if it persists re-download and then re-install, rf seems to do this quite a bit (bad downloads and installs). Let us know on progress please
  13. google for 'tvu player', download and install (at your own risk of course but i've happily had tvu installed for about 18 months without a problem), search for the 'wheelz' channel in the list which is currently showing Speed channel coverage of the Outlaws from Dodge City, Kansas from now until 10pm enjoy

  17. i'm having a browse (well, plough's nearer the mark lol) through racesimcentral's excellent rFactor support section and found this thread, which sounded similar.....check you have the commonmaps.mas and terrain.tdf in your locations folder, just in case something like a virus scan or ccleaner has removed the files. just a thought......
  18. reinstalled everything? Game, tracks and mods? Have u tried just the default isi stuff (i.e. Rhez cars at toban)? If its still booting u then it may not be a game issue but try that first plz let us know ty
  19. first time that anyone's worked quickly to clear the track there, that's for sure couldn't have happened to a nicer fella.....
  20. help support Heat to get a server/race finder so we can just open a program and see what servers are open and just go race... more about it HERE Please support Heat. your turn to give something back we have all been racing and making mods for it now for yrs TADS
  21. Hi all, Just a short note to let you know that the Skegness track beta is now available for download. The track has working clockwise and anti-clockwise versions in the installer, and the instaler has the default track location pre-set, so if you use a non-standard (C:/program files/rfactor) installation amend your installer accordingly. The track currently doesn't have working traffic lights or floodlights (so watch your race start times), but these will be working for the final release, along with (if i get my finger out) a shale version. Download Skegness here I'd like to say many, many thanks to MoR and Freew67 for their work in importing the track to game and fixing the zillion mistakes i made, and Drumbstick for his fantastic AIW work Hope you like it all the best ........ Wrighty
