He was second on the grid but got dropped to the back of group 1 becuse hes car was under weight , i lost sight of him about half way i think i read somewhere yesterday (mightve been in the ftooz o/t section) that he picked up a puncture and retired sky were there filming apparently, so expect a 3 minute feature on World Motorsports sometime next March (nah, hopefully Sky'll do the 1-hour programme again) How did Jay get on over the weekend Aussie?

  8. canny site jack ...... if you go to 'products' then 'transport' you can sort by clicking the 'price lower' button, so all the free stuff comes up first, there's several pages some more 'useful' than others, but any free model's good for a look at if you're into that kinda thing nice model wow

  12. mmmm yeah i'm sure any saloon driver who knows how to entertain the crowd would welcome being followed in to a tyre....which way's it gonna go? left? right? up? (can't go back if there's a car there).....the point is (as sim so correctly said to me while discussing this) bangers have crumple zones to help absorb impacts.....saloons are solid chassis, so the only 'give' in an impact is the drivers ribs :| it aint worth it Erik m8, 'loons are NOT follow-in-friendly
  13. Happy birthday m8, hope you have a great day

  16. Hi Rod, Essentials is basically a 'skeleton' to allow you to install and play nascar heat mods, but it doesn't include a file called 'UI.res', which is required for most of the mods. My best suggestion would be to download and install the Brisca Heat mod (offline F1s) which i believe includes its own UI.res file (its a very large file, around 30mb). Once this installation is done, copy the UI.res from the Brisca folder into the Nascar Heat 'run' folder, then re-install the F2 mod. While the F2 installer runs, it looks for the UI.res and uses it as part of the install, hence why the F2 install failed. I'm due to upload a new version of the National Heat offline mod in the next few days, and this contains a UI.....If the Brisca Heat install doesn't work, i'll PM you a link for the rods UI & installer so you can use this UI for the F2 mod install. thnx, let me know if the Brisca Heat install method works plz............Wrighty

    help

if you use the Mask's Mod Launcher you have no limit to tracks (aside of hard drive space of course)......i had about 370 tracks in
  19. what OS u using? sounds like inbuilt security is blocking the macros m8 (well maybe OS, maybe AV) - re: the greyed-out options, are they all the same with a sheet with data in? (you might get less options showing because you've got a blank sheet open)
  20. Pazza's right...the wheels aren't part of the cars, they're packed in the part.res file, so you'd end up with different car models for a fin change I'm not nit picking but ..... isnt it possible by altering the part.res i mean i know how hard it is to code a game etc by brother does it for a living though surely you can make a few shapes for the fins and enter the projections onto diffrent options just like the wheels.... i mean you get cars which are longer than other though they car wheels remain in the 'correct' possitions Though by saying all of this i think ive confused myself feel free to have a stab the wheel positions are set in the car physics file, there are (as i recall) no other parts defined in the physics ......alternatively, get Rfactor it has a cool 'upgrades' option that allows you to 'tailor' your car

    Help

if you've done a new install, you'll need to do a manual update to bring the current install to fully updated spec.

    Help

mine did it too at the start of the week........just uninstalled it and downloaded the latest version, re-installed, problem solved....took about 15 minutes. I think there must've been an error in one of the recent updates but the 'current' install (on Monday) seems to have cured it
