I'd say more of a downgrade fella beauty's in the eye of the beholder chap.....ask Danny Smidt, Daz Kitson, Thingy Fegan (look at the 'lyndale decal' thread) etc.....i like it but not so much that i'd refuse to make a 'proper wing' when this little 'un is available lol. re: other discussions elsewhere, you'll be pleased, no doubt, to see that the car has a proper steering wheel and pedals as opposed to two thumb-buttons for throttle, brake and steering inputs......

Button won't dominate, Ham has his feet far too far under the table for that to happen, but i think (if they have a decent car) they have the potential to dominate the season....Button as a driver has the measure of a lot of people on the current grid and i think he can nurse a car (no fuel stops, tyres only next season don't forget) better than Ham on their usual form*.... Having said all that, the prospect of Ham and Button in the macs, Alonso and Massa in the Ferraris, Vettel and Webber in the RBs and Rosberg + (insert your name here....if your name's Heidfeld....or Kimi lol) in the mercs is proper PROPER mouthwatering .....this might just be a fepic battle *forgot to mention the potential spanner in the works, namely Anthony Hamilton.....i can see his point, he's dragged his boy from karts to the peak of motor racing but i really have grave concerns for the potential negative influence he could have on the team on behalf of his boy......who would you back in a fight? John Button or Anth Hamilton?

ill try that but atm i cant seem to find the heat.bin unhide hidden folders and then run the windows search for it, it used to be in a hidden folder in c:/documents and settings/<your username> iirc.

sorry, i'm not aware of a method to guide the path for the patch. I'm sure this is to do with how vista/windows 7 treats programme modifications (which is basically what the patch does), you'll need a skilled heat person to assist i'm afraid.

hi m8, If everything's wanged up full its most likely to be either a dodgy download or dodgy install - i'll confirm the 'created' dates on my installs when i get in tonight so you can cross-check your mas and maps.mas files.

Sounds like your Windows may be stopping the patch from installing correctly. Try running the patch in safe mode or log yourself into your pc in administrator mode to allow the patch to install properly

hi m8, hmmm this is an odd un.....you've obviously got the latest version coz its asking for the floodlight glow which wasn't in the original beta. I can't check until i get in tonight but i'm sure the additional parts (lights, glows etc) were all done for dx7, dx8 and dx9, but i'd appreciate it if you'd confirm which dx you're on and which detail level you run in-game. It might be worth re-downloading it just in case but it looks more like a local machine issue than a download problem.

Found this article about it, apparently between 600,000 and 1 million users booted off the network. The 20 million is total users on the network from 34 million consoles sold in total....... still blimmin awesome numbers tbh to say its 'only' gamers lol

the OL addition that was posted in the thread linked is for the files to be added to the existing track folder, not to replace it m8. a mas error sounds like u removed the birm folder

With respect Al that isnt restricted to rFactor, Heat was exactly the same but i'm in the same boat as you.....not enough practice, get swamped, get peed off, dont practice, next meeting more of the same lol its a hobby
