  1. I realy like it, espescialy the way the bonnet bolts can be seen through the headlight holes, very realistic that. Great work, yet again Swindy.
  2. Stick at it Erik.
  3. I know absolutely naff all about modeling etc, but would it be possible to play around with the physics of the 3 ltr Austin model and change it to FWD? Then rename the FWD.car conversion as a wolzly and its another model for the pre 68/2ltr class.
  4. A thicker door plate wouldnt have done anything, except allow the bolts/washers to rip through the door skin. Its a bean can car, followed in full chat by a proper old car, its obvious whats going to happen. Sadly, as newer cars become lighter/made of even thinner metal, this is what will hapen to them when hit hard.
  5. Impressive yard there Jamesy.
  6. Cheers Reg.
  7. Ta mate! Well done.
  8. Not something I'd call 'Hardcore' either
  9. Try using your grey matter, and have a think! What about copying an extra layer of the shell, colour that a different colour to the other layers and then erase part of it till your left with just a door/wing/door bar. Hardly rocket science is it?
  10. Thanks Swindy!
  11. Thats too easy.
  12. No chance to get any pics of mine today, its blocked in by crap. As soon as I get her moved I'll post some up.
  13. If you look closely it does have four doors, the rear door handles have been removed. True, but mines got proper rear doors that you can use without having to pogo dance under the windows. I'll take me camera to work tomorrow and try to get a few pics, providing my old man aint blocked her in with a pile of builders crap. Does your mate have any problems with the coachbuilt body work and the hydraulics battering the poop outta everything? Looks cool.
  14. If its MK1 hearse pics your after, I'll post some pics of a proper MK1 hearse. None of this 2 door stuff.
  15. Woo Hoo!
  16. Only that d1ck that won the lottery would pay that much for a shell. Maybe you are getting confused with the total cost of a fully signwritten World final car.
  17. I remember when Mike James was 617 and Bill Batten was 667
  18. Unless its Ash, in which case its a Welder-weight boxing match on the track. Follow ins are fine if your all in slow, reasonably strong old cars, but the newer stuff is all multi-valved engine stuff, and the shells have the same amount of strength as an opened coke can. Look at primeras when they hit a fence flatout, they bend outta all recognisable shape. Todays motors are too fast and too soft, unfortunately.
  19. Not throwing fuel onto the fire, but in the picture on the program cover, it looks like the 318 car is being punted into the spun out car and not the fence. Also 617's follow in from Chris Bradbury at Smeatharpe last year left his car looking in far worse an appearance than that one, his car looked visably bent.
  20. Well done guys!!!!
  21. Thanks Spike!
  22. As the title, would anyone be kind enough to post up/pm me the template of the above car? Ta.
  23. Woo Hoo! Thanks Swindy.
  24. Have you tried the PHOTOSHOP guide link posted 2 posts above yours?
