That is the one bit im not happy with tbh, but I have no idea of how to get that reflective effect in the numbers. Is there anyone that knows how to do that effect that would be willing to teach me please? It would be very helpful as i have needed that effect on a few of my skins and end up just having to use checks instead.

That might be because i used the search feature lol. I think i had that problem before... Oh well, if you want to see what it looks like there is a search button in the top right corner on the gallery of stoxnet. Just type 318 and some pics should come up. After a flying start to the season, making it to 3rd in the first month of the grading list, Billy-Tom has been outstanding for a relative newcomer. Billy is now graded red at 16th in the points after 3 grading periods but unfortunately I haven't got to a meeting with his aerofoil anything other than white so far this season so i have been unable to update yet, as I believe there is now more sign-writing on the top of the wing. Billy-Tom has suffered back problems after an accident at work so he isn't racing as regularly as he would like to at the moment but his future looks very bright. As a slight change from the normal screenshots, I ave acquired a copy of 3ds and tried a few renders. I know they are very very simple and basic but i haven't had time to learn how to do better ones yet, although i still think these are better than screenshots. Comments welcome... No problem m8, if Maus does copy it then tbh he is only copying my copy lol. The colours were (loosely) taken from Mike Storrey's F1. The idea for the wing design from James Rogers F2. The standard Randall logo with my colouring, the rFactor logo and the rear panel idea is from Steve Jacklins F1 aerofoil. Funny where inspiration can come from aint it lol Hope it brings you more luck than your last F2, it has so far with Heat & Final win and I think 4th in the GN from handicap? Blue after one meeting in it, Noone makes them like i do Cheers Kruiz

I think that you two should try and ignore each other and stop arguing with each other in about half the threads on this Forum. What impression do you think it is giving newbies like Murf. He certainly not going to want to partcipate in the league if all sees is stupid arguements between people over nothing. London allstar, why did you even post in this topic in the first place? If you are not willing to paint a skin for Murf then there was no need in posting in this topic. Erik has very generously offered his services to a new member, of this league, and all you can do is criticise even BEFORE you have seen the skin. Cheers Kruiz

My dad raced F1's mid 70's - late 80's as 136 in F1 and V8 hot stox '87 - '91 then I was born! and he couldn't afford it anymore.... I use 145 in bangers as 136 was taken but my football number is 45 so i just stuck that next to the 1 lol. Thats where my numbers come from Cheers Kruiz

Bangers wouldn't be the same without follow-ins and it is possibly my most favourite aspect of banger racing. I don't watch bangers that often, usually just the bigger meetings at Hednesford and when they are on at when they are on with F1 (usually Kings Lynn & Coventry), but drivers MUST know what they are letting themselves in for when they drive a banger. I'm sure the majority of the banger drivers had watched them for years before they tryed them themselves, so they must have seen the devastation that follow-ins can occasionally cause and the risks that come with banger racing. I don't know the ins and outs of the Jag - Bluey follow-in, but I have seen the crash on the internet on a video. I think it was the World Final? Usually cars are split up by class to stop those sort of clashes and even out the 'playing field' so why were they even allowed to be in the same race together? Wouldn't it be a better idea to be tougher on the classes so that weaker cars like the bluey and tougher cars like the Jag can't be in the same race? Just my thoughts, Kruiz

Changing the topic slightly (or a lot lol), how can I paint my own cars for SoD? I think it is the best game, I think I have ever played, and would like to add my own cars to the game. I believe in order to do this you must overwrite an existing bangers templates with your own. I just want to know if there is anyway of getting your own banger in game, ie not an overwrite of an existing ca, and if there are any blank templates about as I find trying to paint over an existing paint job very tricky and awkward. dont know how relevant this is but, it only disconnects me when in a meeting. It doesnt disconnect me when in practise for instance, so mabe the constant going back and to from chat to Jolt has an effect on it? This would seem to be the case as it does it roughly on the second or third race of the meeting, but has not yet disconnected me from any practise session, even with more cars.

I too remember this website along with a few others, but after I had to reformat my PC I have lost all the stuff I downloaded. I have acquired a copy of SoD off a mate, but would be greatful if anyone could post up some websites with add-ons etc. so I can bulk the game back up again, since I have recently started playing it quite a lot recently as I forgot how good it was.
