  1. Many thanks to UKSom for the latest F2 updates, especially fellow Som'erzzz Danny (Dane) Bell and Andy Oakley (Grasser)! 2 new chassis and lots of other tweeks! The perfect way to start another season of UKDirt F2s
  2. Hello and Welcome to the 7th Almost Annual UKDirt F2 OPEN booking thread! Please find attached all of the relevant details needed to bookin. Firstly, I would just like to make it very clear that this is a FREE open to all meeting, hosted by UKDirt in association with UKSom to celebrate the release of the new F2 V5.3 Mod. This meeting usually attracts upwards of 60 cars, seeing people from all areas of stockcar racing meet up to race in a rather special annual event. This meeting is due to take place 26th February 2018, starting at 8PM. As you can imagine, with upwards of 60 cars this meeting isn't "gone in 60 seconds" however UKDirt provide two hi-tech racing servers each capable of holding more than enough cars to see the meeting pass swiftly and hassle free. Heats will be run in 'twos' with Heat 1 and Heat 2 racing at exactly the same time, in the two different servers. In past years the meeting has finished 'hassle free' within just a couple of hours which is certainly good going considering the events format (3 Heats Each, Semi Finals, Grand Finale). To book in for the annual UKDirt F2 OPEN, please comment below with the following… Drivers Name/Chassis: Driver Number: Your Name/Nickname: Current league grade For Example… Drivers Name: Gordon Moodie RCE (2012) Your Number: 180 Your Name/Nickname: Wardieee Current league/grade: UKDirt - SUPERSTAR Please note, - All grades are subject to change at admins discretion - If a driver has 2 cars in the game, once one car is taken both cars will be taken (unless we start to run out of available cars in which case they will be opened up) - If a real life driver wishes to use their car e.g Mike Green, the real life driver will get preference - Bookings can be rejected at the race managers request Booking Key, - RED - Car taken - WHITE - Chassis frozen until further notice Bingley 143 - Mark Lammas 149 - Kev Smart 15 - Steve Green - LeeK 218 - Rob Speak - TheDriver306 302 - Dale Moon 339 - Stuart Kelly 350 - Gareth Taylor 426 - Mark Davenport 46 - Robert Henderson 470 - Hayden Barrington 603 - John Sleeman 694 - Jonathon Davison 725 - Paul Broatch 796 - Brian Wilson 943 - Robin Little DKB 435 - Steve Temple Higman 226 - Billy Webster 665 - Richard Clubley 797 - Dan Moss 886 - Chris Bradbury 935 - Nathan Maidment - CB H29 - Cor Schutter IoM115 - Mike Booth Kitson 152 - Mick Sworder 152 - Mick Sworder - HGR 269 - Nigel Davies 324 - James Thackra - Grasser 657 - Neal Smith 677 - Chris Roots 732 - Daz Kitson 768 - Tom Adcroft 779 - Cameron Pugh 782 - Stuart Rolph NI271 - Gary Chambers NI317 - Denver Gratton NI917 - Gary Gratton - Harold NI998 - Graham Fegan KWR 41 - Dennis Middler (2016) 86 - Billy Finnegan Jnr 101 - Kelvyn Marshall (2016) - Jouke 606 - Andrew Palmer (2016) - Ginger H124 - Wim Peeters Motorworld 468 - Sam Western - Danny Bell 676 - Neil 'Super' Hooper - Tsjalle Randall 08 522 - Chris Mikulla 606 - Andrew Palmer 641 - Dennis Middler 821 - Gary Walker 835 - Matt Westaway Randall 11 - Graham Mailings 17 - Paul Reid 186 - George Turikki 289 - John Collier 30 - Alec Hamilton 362 - Dave Harley 488 - Liam Bentham 504 - Matt Everard 571 - Darren Clarke 702 - Allen Cooper - TheTrainBanger_YT 744 - Tom Smart 780 - Chris Utley 806 - Paul Hemming 871 - Mark Simpson 908 - Mike Reed D91 - Mario Behrens H71 - Milou Mets NI74 - Jonny Stirling RCE 101 - Kelvyn Whalley 115 - Michael Green (2012) 115 - Michael Green (2013) 154 - Steve Green Jnr 176 - Gary Coffey - Hoggy 242 - Ben Bate - Fake Wardy 287 - Jason Wilkinson 3 - Liam Rennie 312 - Chris Kincaid 338 - Lee Livingston 383 - Jack Brown 391 - Gregor Turner 401 - Barry Goldin - Spike 41 - Dennis Middler (2015) 44 - Chris Cort 48 - Ryan Morgan 445 - Nigel Green - Tom Davidson 522 - Chris Mikulla 538 - Chevy Mills - Charlie 546 - Barry Folan 647 - Chris Burgoyne 2014 647 - Chris Burgoyne 2015 - Hardboard 7 - Gordon Moodie - Wardieee 7 - Gordon Moodie 700 - Adam Rubery 726 - Colin Thomson 733 - Staurt Mitchell 761 - Richard Bowyer 768 - Tom Adcroft 795 - Alan Kirkaldy 798 - Mark Sargent 846 - Ashley England 886 - Chris Bradbury 888 - Paul Ford 91 - Brett Constable 901 - Ian Thompson Jnr 909 - Andy Cattell 909 - William Murray (2015) 921 - Jack Aldridge (2012) 921 - Jack Aldridge (2013) 925 - Craig McConnell 964 - John Fortune 968 - Mickey Brennan 972 - William Hardie H30 - Toon Schut NI75 - Ross Houston NI925 - Craig McConnell (2014) NI925 - Craig McConnell (2015) TLF 652 - Stephen Forster - Samson 679 - Kieran Howie - Chewy Jr 783 - James Rygor Drivers Booked - Whites 479 Hardboard 504 Charlie 599 Harold 621 Jouke Yellows 100 Tom Davidson 102 Chewy Jr 221 Spike 306 Pierce Bromfield 482 Ginger 777 HGR 885 TheTrainBanger_YT Blues 233 Grasser 647 Samson Reds 39 LeeK 167 CB 184 Fake Wardy 503 Danny Bell Superstars 92 Hoggy 180 Wardieee 229 Tsjalle >>> FURTHER INFOMATION <<< Bookings will close at 6pm SHARP on the day of the meeting. 5. Again, you are assuming without the facts, over the last few seasons the numbers have dropped with Ministox and thus the Admin Team have deemed it the right time to stop with them. We don't run meetings on a Saturday or Sundays, but the servers are up to be used if any member wishes to do so. We do not and never have 'forced' as you say members to pay to race, we run a league in which to become a member there is a fee, its your choice to pay or not. There just seems to be a lot of opinions of your own, that you like Ministox and Autograss and those who don't are wrong, we go by fact, Ministox and Autograss here didn't get the numbers that all of the other mods we run do and thus we offer the more popular ones, this is just sensible running. Now onto your attack on all of the Admins current and previous that UKDirt Admins are lazy. We use our own media to promote our own league, we are not spamming out meetings everywhere that is not how we work. Numbers are cleared as and when the Head Admins deem then needing to, as per everyone else does, if you want a number you just have to ask politely to the Head Admin of that mod and they will always try and sort it if they can. We asked for feedback from members and non members you are correct and all feedback is welcome. Any of the members who raced here and have raced the Ministox will advise you the numbers dropped and thus makes it not as workable for a league to run even to the extent that meetings were barely run due to numbers being down to 6 or 7 per meeting. There seems to be some real fascination with Facebook, notifications are a feature yes, but simply looking at a website is hardly a chore is it, a quick glance will show if anything new is posted and thats it. No one has refused to paint you a skin, just the fact nobody has offered to do one yet. In future please use the Caps lock button as anything with just a block of capitals will be simply removed. Opening a website takes longer. You are not on it all the time. Fb you are and groups notifications come up when posted. You don't need to press follow at all. You're refusing to do one by replying stuff that's not about it. You can run a season on people who race. Your not clearing numbers at all or why is the ministox page got so many. Do they all race regularly? If not remove them without asking. Force people to race so many times or they lose there numbers to new members What's the fun in forcing people to race? Your argument is dead. Thanks leek and grasser for the clear up Welcome
  6. Why not? If there's people wanting to do them then surely we should be able to. Otherwise can't you publicise a meeting that drivers themselves organise. Tuesday nights are yet tbc, however after the lack of commitment to minis from our member base I for one would be surprised if they ran leaving the opportunity for them to race in next years winterises I guess
  7. 100% no minis planned im afraid, not for the next 9 months anyway
  8. UKDirt Speedweek 2018! The week commencing 22/01/18 will see UKDirt head to Ipswich, Arena Essex, Birmingham & Huntly NZ for a week of unmissable racing! Each meeting will carry two lots of points. The first lot of points will be the normal 'National Points' which count towards the normal 'National' series HOWEVER each meeting will also carry 'Speedweek Points' which will only count towards the Speedweeks grand total itself with the overall winner and the highest scoring non-member winning some UKDirt goodies!! Mod specific information will be posted on the Meeting Info and UKDirt Speedweek Points will be announced each night! There are plenty of goodies up for grabs, and with a totally FREE week of racing, it should be the perfect way to kick off the 2018 season in style! Get liking, and sharing folks! Lets make this week massive!
  9. Gutted I couldn’t race! WD to all the winners.
  10. Thrustmaster T500 RS - Very good condition, not even 12 months old. Full working order, ideal for someone who enjoys all aspects of sim racing including iRacing. I bought this wheel with full intentions of using it, mainly intended for iRacing and rFactor use however I find myself with little time to enjoy it and use it. This is a very serious bit of kit, not your average £29.99 argos job. The wheel comes with upgraded springs in all of the pedals for a better racing experience, fully compatible with any play seat configuration. They also grip the floor pretty well considering the weight (all the checker plate), the wheel will come set up as standard with the standard wheel itself and pedals. I also have the Ferrari GTE wheel which I use for racing rFactor, again this is also up for grabs. Serious inquiries only. It isn't cheap! (PM ONLY) GTE Wheel (only) £45 + P&P Wheel & Pedals £300 ono. AND NO I WONT PART X IT FOR A G29!
  11. Hahhaa the blue and silver one is always gonna be mine!
  12. Ive got an old one you can have
  13. Many thanks to everyone who’s raced and supported the f2s this season, an awesome show by all accounts. Very enjoyable season, just a lot more points and consistency needed to really keep up with the big dogs... I do honestly put a lot of hours into my 3 desired mods behind closed doors, so to win a few titles along the way does feel quite an achievement. Next year I should hopefully have more time to spend on F2s both to help the league progress and of course some more time to practice during the week. Once again thanks to everyone behind the scenes, thanks to all the fellow admins & Super Steward Stumpy! This coming Monday the superstox free series starts. This is a great opportunity to bring your friends along to try out UKDirt and see what stockcar racing is all about! It’s free and open to anyone who’s isn’t already ban from UKDirt or the Superstox. For those of you who don’t know, the superstox are basically a zetec powered F2 with a baby wing, slightly morestandard suspension and a more durable set of tyres. They’re great fun to drive and race plus they run to a more strict set of ‘limited contact’ rules meaning it takes the faster drivers much longer to get to the font as a much more laid back polite driving style is needed to get through the field also making it a bit more welcoming to novices.
  14. Well I still cant believe I've managed to do it and shocked is an understatement. I didn't quite get my 6 in 6 and well the last bend didn't exactly go to plan but all in all its been a superb championship and considering this is the first ever shootout I've taken part in, i'm thrilled. Beating Dan is never an easy task and it really has taken years for me to even be able to challenge him. I know I got a little bit of luck at Coventry, but even if he had raced I think its fair to say the 5 in 5 would of helped to hold him back (with a few less handicaps). The racing throughout the series has been superb, just a shame tonight never really got going between myself and Dan in the racing department... There was always someone lurking. Would of been nice to really go toe to toe, or maybe even a little more interesting if he had managed to get away from Barker... however given the chance I had to wrap it up, not the way I wanted to win admittedly. Thanks to everyone for racing, thanks Dan and Stumps for the meeting! See you all in the very near future!
  15. 5 out of 5 Cheers for the meeting Dan & Stumps! Belle Vue next week, and theirs nothing in it! May the best man win
