  1. Just to add to this, two years ago I missed 2 major championships. One in f2s and one in minis, both of which were fixtures I had made. We certainly don't make the fixtures to 'sort ourselves out' unfortunately we try to offer the best fixtures to fix everyone's interests.
  2. Big well done to Mr Skinner! Congrats mate Quite laughable really, the fact so many fast people could of won that race (or even qualified further up the field) however they're too busy making sure they hit the person in front every bend. Lap 3 of the euro I was spun, rejoining in front of Dan before then finishing 2nd... That's got to be pretty embarrassing for most of you lol
  3. Great meeting considering the lack of practice, well done to all of the nights winners!
  4. WD to all of tonight's winners including Dan with the UK Open win! Also very nice to see CB finding his feet again back in the tooz!
  5. If I can run a wire around a 3 story house anyone can haha!
  6. You do learn everyone's car... other than one or two people most of the drivers on here turn out similar cars each year (colours ect), also when people paint f2s properly it's behind the seat too! Which is something i use to go mad about when I was f2 admin. I don't disagree with what your saying, but in another couple of months when you've been here a bit longer I can guarantee you'll end up turning that screen off because you'll know everyone by car.
  7. As far as meetings go, this one certainly wasn't panning out to be mine. In the heats the pace was good but the consistency plus my wheel ffb dropping occasionally just wasn't letting me get as far up front as I wished. Finally a spot of luck came in the later heats with a cheeky victory to round off the heats. With the final up next I knew I had to pull something out of the bag to even keep up with Dan, however with a lucky break from the outside to the inside I knew I needed to pressure dan easly on to have any hope of retaining the British my first ever F1 major. Once again the luck fell into my hands passing dan before the traffic allowing me to control the race and pass cars in the safest places making even harder work for dan. The race itself seemed endless with both myself and Dan giving it everything we had, yet another great race between ourselves. Big thanks to everyone who congratulated me!
  8. I seem to recall yourself doing similar things last week Harry and as the forum shows, you clearly don't like the taste of your own medicine!
  9. I'm getting sick of this crap now, people don't realize whats being said.... Myself, Grasser, Dane and Samson arent bloody team racing!! Nether are Wrighty or Drumbstick! Over the years many people have put there own time and effort into THIS MOD for imbeciles to accuse them of 'Team Racing' and cheating and all the rest of it. It's all a massive dream, it doesn't exist. Currently UKSom's main active contributors (of recent) are Grasser, Dane, Samson and myself. We don't team race, if anything myself and samson love a good competitive race. So why should Dane spent hours and hours working on new chassis for us all to be accused of team racing??? Why should Samson paint so many skins for the mod and this very league to be accused of team racing? As I say, this is no way a dig at anyone who 'is' or 'has' contributed to UKSom but I cant sit here with my mouth shut any longer. I might as well stop organizing new things, Dane and Grasser should stop making new chassis and samson should stop painting everyone new cars. Lets just take everything out of the mod and all race bingleys at 3 different tracks on one set of physics. The mod is far from perfect, none of us claim it is.... but we spend our own time making it better for YOU just to be slagged off. Cheers
  10. Huge well done to Fake Wardy, you really deserve a title mate. Just don't do to much practice otherwise you'll be driving away from me john and dan Cheers for the meeting admins
  11. I'd go as far as saying the level of idiocy displayed on this thread sums up the night and the people who bother to race these things week-in/week-out.
  12. I will send you the information via Facebook when it all gets posted mate
  13. wasn't aimed at you Dane, more the novice drivers who are yet to get to grips with it
  14. I'm all for this being a good idea, but people get obsessed with stuff like this for no reason. It's a known fact you will go faster on track when in traffic as you can get little leans off people coming out of corners or use them to slow you down at a later apex ect, so PLEASE remember that these laptimes are taken from race conditions with 23 other cars bashing around the person who sets the fastest lap. In a 20 lap final your .4 is no use of your averaging .8s, stockcars racing in general is all about consistency.... a fastest lap of .5 with an average of .6s will always beat a .4 with an average of .8s. Before doing 1000 laps setting your car up to go fast over a lap, remember that the car needs to be able to take a hit, slam the fence ect. Look at the fastest drivers in an F2 server, on average there will be 92, 117, 184, 236, 238 and myself. Half of the cars on that list can blast myself, Dan and John in practice but when it comes to racing they can't touch anything near that 'lap time' in the server. This isn't because the can't drive, it's because the car isn't set up to bounce off the wall or clip the carb a few times. Personally I always compromise pace for that durability within the setup, and that would be my advice to everyone else on track. These things certainly aren't hotrods...
  15. The f2s might move forwards or backwards a week to not clash with Venray, however the f1 ones have been build around Venray... Venray would be the only excuse to move anything around with the real drivers/mechanics/fans travelling to and from Venray
