Here's the B Final, Matty - you can enjoy watching me lead a few laps for a change I also seemed to be battling with no.351 on and off all race, cracking battle BFD Birmingham_2006_15.zip

Like MOR I enjoyed every race I was in, and didn't fall out with anyone or see any bad driving, it was a superb night. The B Final battle with BFD & Walker was out of this world with us passing and repassing each other, and I was well pleased with 6th in that (later upgraded to 5th). It was terrific to have split heats, consis, A/B Finals - I really hope numbers are maintained so this can continue, it gives so much more variety, and the meeting still seemed to move on at a good pace - well done Johno & Kev. I thought the starts were very good - I did not see any white tops trying to get a flier at all, which I have to say is unusual - well done lads. I don't often agree with Mav but he has definitely hit a chord with me about the server numbers - I still get confused by server 1 or server 2 - please can server 90 or 91 be specified instead or as well as? Last season I struggled to run rFactor on-line, but since upgrading my RAM and then making a few tweaks to the pc, it seems to be running things fine now. How it will stand up to the more resource hungry tracks, I will have to wait and see, but at least I know I can race at plenty of the tracks without problem now. Sheffield is another track I really like, so I am looking forward to next week very much. I have gone through phases of liking rFactor and of despairing of it, but last night definitely convinced me this is the real deal.

Nice summary of last week's meeting and generally a very good write up, nice work as usual.

Not sure what the 1 reason is but none of my business anyway, just sorry to see you give it up as you have done a great job and always a very pleasant bloke to race with. Hope you will still be racing anyway.

I want to use exactly the same skins as last year, can you include them in the skinpack please Mike or do I have to work out how to pack them up again for you?

I'll take that as a compliment! Cracking meeting, I was well chuffed with 2 top 10's in the heats, and like has been already said, close clean racing all round last night. Top notch.

With the best will in the world, there are going to be prangs on the bends at this track because of it being so tight and slippy, and likely retaliations too.

Thanks for the meeting. I found it virtually impossible to get round those tight corners, but was worth turning out I think, and certainly enjoyed a bit of fun and games with Trav in the GN to round the night off. Sheffield next week should be a better meeting for me.

Thanks for the votes lads, a nice surprise to get a few. A decent presentation, good work Gary and co, and here's to an even better 2010 season.

Well done Mav, a cracking Final win. I enjoyed chugging round. I took it steady so as to keep better control of the car and felt a lot happier doing that than going into corners on the edge and losing control. Obviously I wasn't quick enough but who cares, I enjoyed it. Skeggy seems the best track for my pc, I had no lag or warp at all last night. I think Brum is a good one for me too so will try to make next week. Using tyre wear gets thumbs up from me, I had no problems.
