I really love this mod and it felt great to be back after a few weeks non attendance - I hope to be there most weeks now. Likewise I love Sheffield and it gives some great close racing where people sit behind for a few laps before they can get you - feels great racing so close. I made a couple of mistakes where I put a wheel on the inner kerb coming off the 4th bend and was taken by surprise how easily it whipped me into a tyre. I enjoyed the Final where I was a lap down and caught Lew up who was in the lead and I sat behind him and made sure I didn't mess him up, likewise playing it fair when somebody else caught up. I don't think I can remember racing so close behind someone for so long as I did with Lew and it didn't seem to put him off lol. I was into the swing of things by the Grand National and it was good to be in the points at last. I felt competitive all night to be honest so don't feel too bothered I only scored 4 - I actually thought I was 6th not 7th, is there any folder I can check the last result like in Heat? Like Pusher, I can't wait for next week's Semi Final, or to try Stanlake track, hope it's a good'un.

Is that Pistol Pete ready to fire? Not quite yet Al, getting to grips with RFactor though so maybe I'll make an appearance towards the end of the season... Ah, getting my Petes mixed up, but good to hear Pistol will be firing up before too long.

Great pictures, cheers Tosh. Shows how efffective turning on the floodlights worked too.

Forgot to mention before, I would like to echo what others have said about the floodlights, it was a great touch to have darkness fall gradually through the meeting, and then have the floodlights fire up as we were just gridding for the British - terrific.

W d Harold & Pusher for going so well, and good to see Spike get a win too. Well done British Champ Kruiz. The usual excellent racing, I really enjoyed it. I had a particularly close battle with Cap in one race, and a couple of mega close finishes with Spike and then Mav. Cheers lads.

Stick at it Mav, it adds to the fun avoiding you coming back on-track. The more the merrier.

Another good meeting with plenty action about. I was fairly lucky with the carnage until the GN when I just missed out on a top 10 but I've got to be happy with 3 top 10 finishes and especially a Final 7th. It's not going too bad from Blue so far. Well done Tom and thanks to Trav, Drumb & Aub.

Top job Johno and Kev, well run as ever thanks. It was tricky keeping out of trouble last night and not always achieved, but I didn't imagine I could possibly end up with a 2nd in a heat even with the advantage of starting from white on a narrow track, so I was very pleased with that. Unlike most races, the chequered flag actually came up sooner than I expected which gave me a right shock when I realised I was just behind winner Johno. I had some good races with Harold as usual, sorry you spun out when I was passing you in the GN m8, I was maybe in too much of a hurry to get past. Nice to have sneaked into the top 36 for the WC. Can I stay there?!?

Interesting video, cheers for posting it up Mav. My conclusion is "that's racing". Looks pretty much the kind of thing would happen in real racing too IMO. It's not like Tosh followed you in or owt.

Like Nezza I just enjoy these more and more every meeting. Absolutely brilliant. I am nicely happy with 11 points from my first meeting at blue, as if I had blue in Heat I would almost definitely never score a point. The heats went well - chuffed with 5th in heat 2 although I think I tangled with a white or yellow early in heat 3 so 10th was quite good in the circs. The final I was out of luck on the first lap or two, I remember facing backwards looking at Daveyboy who had also been in the melee. The GN was the best race of the night for me, highlights being a great battle with Drumbstick for several laps, and then a similar battle with lap-down Daveyboy. Awesome stuff fellows. To get a decent placing too made it extra good. Great to see Pusher enjoying himself and Cider making a very solid debut. Harold seems to be clicking in these now, well done mate. Surely Mav will be back too as he seemed to do ok in the exceptional circumstances surrounding his appearance. Plus he sounds to have a bit of unfinished business to attend to.

Sorry I forgot to read the MI as dashed in for a quick bit of practice, cheers for your patience when I wondered what was going on with the makeup of Final grid. I'll know in future
