Well done Lee, you seemed to walk the World Final from what I saw. I still don't know enough about this mod to avoid getting confused by being told to make sure I had enough fuel in the World Final and ended up going off the back of the grid as missed my slot in the confusion about whether I would run out, and turned out I had enough fuel anyway . It seems a waste of time racing this mod now unless you've done a shedload of practice as the pace is so quick. I'll be picking my tracks carefully I guess as I haven't enjoyed the last 3 I've done.

Yes it was rubbish, I didn't have one decent race. We aren't supposed to chat once we are on the grid but it was hard to see any instructions being given by the steward due to constant talking, mostly totally irrelevant to the race and showed how some didn't seem to be taking things too serious which probably led to the crud meeting. F2's can be so much better than this.

Sorry Mart, I didn't say I raced with one, I said I thought I'd seen it, but tbh I am wondering if I was thinking of the last F1 Heat meeting when someone drove without a wing so I may be getting mixed up anyway.

Sorry if I came across as bolshy to Mav, but fortunately Johno is much more diplomatic than me.

A shame you did not quote one of the cases where drivers have been docked in F1 GP for similar - what about Hamilton last year for starters? Likewise in other motorsport such as bikes. Sorry if the docking of someone who gained places on you and owned up about it has upset you so much Mav, we will try to give you something a bit more worthwhile to moan about next time.

Well obviously he could have re-joined safely without gaining places. Maybe that would have meant him losing places instead of gaining them, we'll never know. I am surprised that Mav can't see that allowing places to be gained by cutting the infield even if not intentional would not be the right precedent to set.

Nice write up, nice bit of spice in there too.

The semi went really well for me, I was almost down and out of the top 9 at one stage and spent a good few laps having a superb battle with Leech for 8th/9th with a few cars looking to catch us just behind. It worked out though and Leech and I both worked hard to make it through. The rest of the meeting started pretty well and gradually went a bit down hill I thought, the entry speed on the bends is pretty slow compared to the fast straights so hard hits are fairly easy although usually lead to spins, the hits seemed to get bigger as it went on and the racing probably suffered a bit. Still, there were a lot of cars so can't expect things to be incident free. Anyway, well done all the other qualifiers and great Final win from our antipodean debutant.

Anybody able to put some or all of the replays up please? I really enjoyed it, it's good to feel I can race shale as it's certainly trickier than tarmac. I made one or two mistakes, the worst being overcooking it on the most difficult 4th bend which sent me into a car coming up the inside, sorry whoever that was. I did my best in the Semi - it took a while before I was down in 4th, held onto that a bit but inevitably WeeDode got past, I knew I only had one chance next bend or he would be away and my chance of qualifying would almost certainly be gone so gave a harder hit than I would normally but no real surprise when it ended up spinning me while Dode seemed to handle it brilliantly - fair play to you m8 and the other three qualifiers. Tried to give Trav a race in the GN and had a couple of good laps with him but ended up over-stretching myself and again messed things up. Good experience though. I will certainly try and make at least one of the two meetings next week.
