To be honest from what little I understand I have.... thats rFactor throwing a bit of a paddy. The sheer amount of people all in the same place in that first corner saw Harmens car squeeze up the inside of a car that had lagged into the fence leaving Harmen no room to go forwards so the game just threw him up. If you imaging the contact box all the way around the outside of each object, there were way too many crossings over with each other, and with those boxes not altering with the damage that would be caused to the cars it just causes a massive mess, hence Harmens trip to Mars and your trip up the wall haha. rFactor isn't the only sim to do this, I do some racing on other simulators with the UKSom lads and it seems to be a common factor within all Motorsport simulations from my experience. Its a shame really, but with all the WIP contact physics im sure it wont be too long before we see a sim with much better contact.

As 99% of us know, this season has seen UKDirt branch out into a few different areas of social networking with our main hits being the all in one Facebook page which is updated daily, and of course our YouTube page! Videos of the F1s are posted every once in a while, however with tonight being the UK Open I thought I would try something different and let you members/drivers have a say in who gets the onboard camera in tonight's feature final. I want the votes to be slightly serious, so voting for someone who isn't necessarily going to make the grid is just a waste my time so here's how im going to do it. I will sit in chat after the UK Open. Anyone who wants to voice an opinion on who gets the onboard camera can feel free to send me a PM stating a driver and a reason. The could be for anything such as winning, or crashing I am really not fussed. The person with ether the most votes or the most comical reason for a video with get an onboard video uploaded later this week. IF the video is made due to the comedy value of one of your votes, I will be posting the vote at the start of the video for everyone to have a chuckle at however I will be leaving everything completely confidential. A restart will see a 50/50 chance. It could get better it could get worse. As for my opinion I would never restart races ether, I am more than happy to chance a jump in every single race and run the risk of a possible docking as that's what being a superstar is all about to be honest. This restart thing is something that has always been run through my spell of admin over the past few years and I suppose with the odds being 50/50 I can see why the higher admins have chosen to run the meetings in this way.

Not being funny Mav but you have made an arse of that tbh. If you had bothered to read my post you would of seen 1 or 2 key phrases that will cancel these factors out. I will take the legacy of highlighting these for you below..... as for Stewarding comments, there were 3 officials in the race and TWO of them (none of them being myself) called for a restart so I looked down, noticed the white was miles ahead as shown in my pretty picture below. If you would like the replay I would be more than happy to provide it...... Where are the whites.... They have clearly jumped it as both me and TomD said in chat. By that point we hadn't had a restart so with a 1 restart policy surely we are allowed to restart it just as we would in any other race or formula?

WD to all the winners ect however I am now going to have a massive moan! The rolling laps in both of tonight's meeting were dreadful to say the least, and with a (1 restart) policy the second attempt will see you jump starters docked so please be expecting PM's! Its not only me who witnessed this, when talking to super steward Stumpy he seemed to have as many as I did. A jump start causes an awful lot of hassle, not only does it mean the steward has to ESC from the game and login as an admin, but the steward also then needs to report the jump start, review it and then possibly dock it which then means all of these points will change and huge amounts of work will need to take place to fix these errors. TO MAKE IT CLEAR, when you roll at 20 you don't nail the throttle, you gradually accelerate to 20MPH and stay at this speed. Whilst rolling at 20 you need to ensure you are keeping up with the grade in front as any braking/tyre warming will see your grade drop back. Other than those issues, I had a very enjoyable evening of stockcar racing! Keep your eyes on the youtube page for some more onboard action! 19/05/14

Is it installed to the correct directory? Are you running as an administrator on your PC? Is your user account an Administrator?

Well I feel the need to comment on this for once. Brilliant night from the stewards box tonight with Grasser and Stumpy, personally enjoyed watching every second. Some of the racing was a bit rough in places, but I wasn't racing so I cant complain. IMO that final was one of the best online races ive seen in quite a while, with Mav leading from the very start whilst almost managing to cling on to the victory on the last bend. Huge well done to all of tonight's winners, especially Mav on clinging onto the GN after the last bend defeat in the final. Also a big well done to Mitch! Flying all night from that white grade, proving that racing with your head from the lower grades is the way forward!

Can I just add.... Id like some purple valve caps and a chrome wheel nut option. Whilst I'm here can I ask when the V8 mod is out?
